My treatment approach is a multi-sensory approach. I use tactile, verbal, and visual prompts to work on speech targets and to aid in motor speech execution. I help parents establish a core word list of functional words and phrases that the child can produce to be practiced at home and in the therapy session. I use carrier phrases to take the demand of speech practice. I also supplement with AAC when needed.
