I typically schedule patients for 30 minute sessions a minimum of 2 times weekly (often due to insurance limitations). Parents/caregivers are trained to ensure carryover. I typically choose ~ 10 targets per goal and do intense practice of each. Visual, verbal and tactile cues are provided as needed and faded when appropriate. Once achieved in single words, I increase complexity slowly to promote carryover to conversation level.
