Overall Treatment Approach:

Apraxia treatment involves a motor-based approach and play-based activities. Treatment is different for each child, depending on what a child can already say and what interests them. Therapy involves high level of repetitions that is then carried over to home.

Parent Involvement:

Therapy is a team approach. Parents are key components of therapy, as you will learn effective ways to target skills at home, which is integral to successful outcomes. Parents also know their child well and are helpful in helping me better understand what motivates a child.
