Overall Treatment Approach:

I use play-based intervention with an interest-driven approach, primarily using visual and verbal cueing to best support my clients. Therapy activities become more structured and intensive as the children’s attention spans increase. I also provide education to parents about apraxia and therapy strategies.

Parent Involvement:

I prefer parents to be in the therapy sessions, both observing and participating in utilizing therapy techniques to best support their children. I value the application of therapeutic strategies at home and in the community for greater progress and carryover.

AAC Use/Implementation Expertise:

I do not consistently use AAC for children with CAS.
