At SpeechKids, kids are seen for short therapy sessions, multiple times per week. Because we use teletechnology, we can tailor the length of these sessions to each individual child. Doing short, frequent sessions, allows a child to make faster and better progress in therapy. We can create a fun routine that is set at a “just right challenge” for the kiddo, and then make quick progress by adding novelty and complexity as the child progresses. At all stages of therapy, we make sure to stay in the "zone of motivation" (the place between apathy and utter frustration): motivation is where the learning happens!
