I use evidence based practice and principles of motor learning to treat children with CAS. I utilize specialized trainings from DTTC, ReST, and PROMPT to support the child’s planning and programming of speech sound movements. Coming from a multidisciplinary therapy team background, I also incorporate sensorimotor strategies to support the child’s regulation and overall sensory and motor systems. The child’s wholistic development is considered, rather than any isolating skill. Parent involvement is the cornerstone of my therapy approach as this partnership is essential for successful therapy.
