Overall Treatment Approach:

My therapy sessions are fun, engaging, include a high number of productions per session using varying levels of multisensory cues and feedback to promote motor learning and generalization. Therapy targets and sessions are highly individualized based on each child's developmental level, temperament, and needs.

Parent Involvement:

Parents provide input into selection of meaningful therapy targets. Parents are an invaluable part of the therapeutic process, as they know their children best and have insight regarding strengths, preferences, and therapy history.

AAC Use/Implementation Expertise:

I have always incorporated low and no tech AAC into therapy sessions as needed, including gestures, facial expressions, body language, pictures, photos, and communication boards/strips. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience with high-tech AAC programs. I have the knowledge and skills to feature match and select the best type of system and type of navigation required for each child based on their profile and needs
