I believe that children progress best when they are highly motivated and engaged so I strive to create a dynamic and fun learning environment so that each child can reach their therapy goals through a variety of stimulating activities and games.
Parents are a fundamental part of the team and are encouraged to be actively involved in the treatment process, during the sessions and at home. I strive towards empowering parents by providing them with the tools and strategies they need to best support their child on their journey towards communication success.
In order to build confidence in communicating, children with CAS are encouraged to express themselves using all means possible. They are encouraged to use gestures, signs and pictures. Higher-tech devices can be introduced if needed.
