12 May Join Us For Apraxia Kids Day of Giving!
Join us online on May 14th for the Apraxia Kids Day of Giving! This year marks the 20th Anniversary of Apraxia Kids. Thanks to your support and the support of our community, our organization continues to move our mission forward.
Please join us by continuing to fund our work by donating $20 (or more!) in honor of our 20th Year Anniversary on May 14th and asking your friends & family to do the same!
Your donations help kids like Logan and his family. Logan’s family participates in their local Walk for Apraxia event where he and his fellow Apraxia Stars are honored and celebrated for all of the hard work they put into learning to speak. They are surrounded by families and communities who are equipped with tools they need to help him communicate. At school, he is supported by his teachers and classmates who learned about apraxia from our awareness tools. Logan’s mom will also be attending her first Apraxia Kids National Conference in 2021 because of a scholarship made possible by your generosity. This experience will bolster her with the knowledge and the community she needs to help Logan through every step of his journey.
There are a variety of ways you can share and donate on May 14th:
- Donate on our website at community.apraxia-kids.org/givingday
- Start your own Facebook fundraiser: www.facebook.com/fund/ApraxiaKIDS/
- Share your Walk for Apraxia fundraising page
Your financial support is critical for the continuation of our mission to help every child find their voice. Apraxia Kids continues to grow every year as more children are diagnosed and more families need help to find the best care available. We are dedicated to empowering more parents to understand the services their child needs while also training more speech therapists to properly recognize and treat childhood apraxia of speech.
Mark your calendars for May 14th!
