She has previously spoken at the Apraxia Kids National Conference and also has started her own nonprofit, Young Able Voices, which aims to help create a safe place for kids that have hidden disabilities to connect with each other and share experiences knowing they are not alone and unheard. Elina also hosts weekly peer-to-peer video support group sessions with Apraxia Kids.”
