With my clients, I like to blend play-based therapy with techniques specifically chosen to improve speech motor movements. Therapy will be fun and encouraging but also involve lots and lots of repetitions of our target sounds, words, or phrases in order to encourage generalization of the skills learned during therapy. Combining parental collaboration and clinical judgement, I will select therapy targets to practice with your child which will be both functional and practical for daily life.
