With every child I work with, my first goal is to develop a trusting relationship. This is done through play based interventions and rapport building activities. All treatment is individualized, meeting the child at their ability level. The goal of treatment should be personalized, functional and engaging. During treatment, I use a high repetition of meaningful and functional stimuli, while offering fun play based therapy. I use many cues to aid in child's success rate, but will fade these prompts as intelligibly increases. I focus on using two evidence based practices: Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) and Rapid Syllable Transition Training (ReST).
