Overall Treatment Approach:

For children, I provide a play based therapy approach driven by established language and speech goals, along with input from parents as to functional speech and language targets that can be implemented at home.

Parent Involvement:

Parents are an integral part of the therapy process being included in each session. This allows parents to observe, ask questions and participate using techniques that will support generalization to the home environment.

AAC Use/Implementation Expertise:

Once an AAC evaluation has determined the best fit for the child (and parents) at the low end: pictures, talkers such as the Go Talk series of devices; at the higher end: tablets with appropriate communication apps; Tobii Dynavox and PRC Saltillo NovaChat
