Overall Treatment Approach:

For children with CAS, I offer short frequent sessions to develop motor speech skills. Sessions can be in person or virtual, and are engaging and fun, while providing lots of opportunities for producing sound combinations and words that are useful and practical in each child’s daily routines. I utilize DTTC to provide as many supports and cues each child needs to succeed and progress in their speech.

Parent Involvement:

Parents are given daily and weekly updates with well developed approximations and words to practice using at home.

AAC Use/Implementation Expertise:

We use AAC alongside developing verbal speech production to allow children to communicate across all of their familiar environments, alleviating frustration and enhancing a child’s communication opportunities.
