Therapy will follow principals of motor learning. SLP will work with parents to choose highly motivating target words and phrases. Treatment would start with blocked and constant practice and we would work our way up to more variable targets/random practice. Therapy should be held at least 2x per week if schedules/insurance allow. SLP will elicit correct productions using DTTC, PROMPT, and multimodal (verbal, visual, etc.) cues while keeping in mind frequency and timing of feedback.
