My therapy strategies include getting to know a child's personality, what is important or interests them and their families, and incorporating that into the treatment plan. Treatment targets are selected with input from the child's caregivers, the child (if old enough), and teachers to ensure targets are as functional as possible. Treatment sessions are play-based so I am often on the floor or up moving around the room for kids under the age of 10 years. I use principals of motor learning and use DTTC strategies to reach treatment targets.
