Overall Treatment Approach:

I love to partner with families to help improve their child's ability to communicate. Therapy is aimed at improving expressive language ability. Play and practice are utilized to maintain engagement, and improve speech production frequency & accuracy.

Parent Involvement:

Parents are key to success! Parents will help by providing case history information, assistance in determining functional therapy targets, attendance to therapy sessions, and implementation of at-home practice.

AAC Use/Implementation Expertise:

I use AAC to support expressive communication for children with CAS. I have experience with a variety of systems, including PECS, Touch Chat, Snap Core, and LAMP WFL, accessed via finger selection, scanning, and eye gaze.
