Therapy with your child is going to be lots of fun! We will start with a medical history and then we will spend time doing several assessments so I can get an idea of speaking tasks that are easy and difficult for your child. I will also try to model and cue to help your child be successful and I will plan my treatment based on the findings from these initial meetings. Therapy will likely be 2-3 days a week. Sessions will include the goal of having 100% accuracy on meaningful functional words that we create together for you and your child. We will only have a few target words at a time. The support I provide will fade as quickly possible as your child demonstrates success with a motor plan.
