Overall Treatment Approach:

My treatment approach for kids with CAS begins with meeting them where they are - focusing on their strengths and building from there. Techniques such as the DTTC, Kaufman, PROMPT, and ReST are used in practice activities to help children meet their goals. I want sessions to be fun and something that the child looks forward to!

Parent Involvement:

I am in constant contact with parents and caregivers. They play an important part in a child’s treatment plan. If they are not present for the session, I work to provide written or verbal updates shortly thereafter. I provide suggestions to work on with their child, and I am available at any time for questions.

AAC Use/Implementation Expertise:

I am currently working to expand my knowledge of AAC to better support children with CAS.
