I strongly believe that speech therapy should be fun for everyone involved, so I do my best to maintain positive and playful sessions. As a parent myself, I understand that children are only motivated to do hard things when they sense that they are in a positive, nurturing environment with enough support to succeed. By working within a child's home or other daily environment, I help children make meaningful gains by incorporating therapeutic activities into play and everyday routines. I cater my therapy style to each child's specific needs and personality, using a very structured approach for some, and very naturalistic techniques for others.
