I use multi-sensory cueing to expand the execution of intelligible syllable shapes. Over time I work to increase the variety and length of the clients' syllable shapes through multi-sensory cueing. Simultaneously, I work on prosody, lexical strength, language and social skills. I supplement verbal speech with augmentative communication for many clients.
Parents are welcome to sit in all sessions so we can train them to work with their children at home.
We have extensive experience with AAC and conduct AAC assessments and Best Practices for intervention.
