At Leaps and Sounds, I strive to keep therapy fun and engaging for every child based on their individual needs. Therapy sessions are filled with fun, giggles, and learning. I follow motor-planning methods that focus on the principles of motor learning, focusing on movement patterns, movement shapes, frequency/duration, amount of practice, and distribution of practice. I have a heavy emphasis on parent engagement, where I teach them the skills for continued practice at home. Sessions are typically 30-45 minutes, with sounds and targets that are catered to your child's sound repertoire and skillset, often taught in a functional, linguistic way.
