Speech therapy for CAS typically involves a small set of meaningful target words with lots of practice during play. We use different levels of cues to ensure accuracy. Therapy is individualized to the child. I’m trained in DTTC and PROMPT and have additional experience using AAC and treating co-occurring phonological and language delays as well.
Parents are always an important part of therapy, from picking the target words to practicing targets at home. We come up with a plan together to support your child.
AAC needs are highly individualized. I can help with providing and training use on low tech core boards as well as help with acquisition of a voice-output device! We work together to find the best, most effective way for your child to communicate.
