Overall Treatment Approach:

I use child-led therapy, in which I incorporate the Principles of Motor Learning, while using Dynamic Temporal Tactile Cueing (DTTC) techniques during therapy. I love to collaborate with my client's families during sessions, and they are an integral part of the client's team as we choose functional treatment targets together for therapy.

Parent Involvement:

Parents sit in as many sessions as they would like. They collaborate with me to choose functional, meaningful targets for my clients. If parents prefer not to sit in on sessions, a debrief of the session occurs after each session.

AAC Use/Implementation Expertise:

I am AAC certified, and use AAC with a majority of my clients, with and without CAS. I typically use various versions of AAC, including core boards, buttons, and high tech voice output devices in conjunction with motor learning principles during therapy sessions. Each session and amount of AAC usage is client-specific.
