I build on skills that are present. I work within the zone of proximal development to increase skills in the order that is most natural for the child. I base my treatment on the principles of motor learning moving from mass practice to practice with shorter duration, more frequently; from consistent feedback to random feedback and from consistent models and targets to varied models and targets.

My therapy is fun and affect based. Kids are playing while working on sounds, no matter where they are in treatment. My ultimate goal is carryover, so I consistently communicate practice strategies and "things to think about this week" with families.
