My treatment approach follows the methods of DTTC while incorporating PROMPT cues as needed. Engagement with the families I work with is my number one priority to support the best possible outcomes. I like to incorporate sensory activities and the child's special interests to create a fun and motivating therapeutic environment.

Parent Involvement:

I enjoy working side by side with parents as they are the most important member of a child's therapy team. I like to provide practical, routine-based targets for practice at home.

AAC Use/Implementation Expertise:

I have extensive experience implementing AAC with children, including those with CAS or suspected CAS. Communication of any modality is the immediate goal for a child experiencing difficulty with verbal speech production. I am involved with NWACS (The Northwest Augmentative Communication Society), a local group that provides education and awareness regarding AAC.
