Comprehensive and dynamic assessment allows us to determine your child's individual needs and confirm or rule out a label of CAS. Additional speech sound or expressive and receptive language needs may be addressed in our sessions. Speech therapy for CAS focuses on improving speech movements in order to help your child become a more efficient communicator. Initially, speech sessions are intense and recommended frequently. As a team, we select specific speech targets that are meaningful to your child and family. In speech therapy, we work through a hierarchy of multi-sensory cues to increase your child's success with each target.
